Ashridge Farm
The Ashridge Farm project is a new section of road (approx. 500m) which runs from Bell Foundary Lane to Dalley road as a connection to a number of new housing estates. The works include the following:
- Bulk excavation for new carriageway
- 7500m³ Excavation of new stream
- 3750m³ and subsequent backfill of existing stream
- Installation of new precast concrete Culvert & Wingwalls
- Excavation of new attenuation ponds 4500m³
- Installation of Sheet pile walls and RC capping beams
- Placement and compaction of capping, sub-base etc to form new carriageway and verges
- 6000m³ Topsoil to all areas
- 9000m³ Drainage including swales, headwalls, manholes etc.
- Carriageway works including Kerbing, Edging, Lighting columns, ducting etc.
