Greenwich Design District
Lorclon worked with Volker Fitzpatrick to deliver part of the highly sought after Greenwich Design District, a new creative destination for London in the heart of Greenwich Peninsula which will include 15,000 new homes and 13,000 new jobs once completed.
The project included 16 buildings which have been designed by 8 different award winning architects. Lorclon’s scope of works on this project was to complete all bulk excavation/groundworks, cast all ground floor slabs, install all drainage and building services, install seating bench and tree pit foundations, re-profile ground level in building corridors and lay tarmac. Externally Lorclon also undertook a number of street work elements such as restructuring diagonal crossings and installing new zebra crossings, all of which is essential to allow the onsite construction phasing plan to progress.
